## What's changing?

From 1 July 2026, Australia's AML/CTF regime extends to professional services for the first time. Lawyers, accountants, real estate agents, conveyancers and other sectors will become reporting entities with new obligations.

Every practice providing designated services will need an AML/CTF program, customer due diligence procedures and must enrol with AUSTRAC.
